I've been getting BSOD's on this system and decided to run a check to see what I could find malware wise. All of the scans ran successfully ecept for SuperAhtiSpyware, I get a BSOD before I can get a scan completed. I've attached logs from all scans that completed. Thanks in advance for the help.

Your logs are clean. I suggest you stop letting you computer reboot on errors and then start a thread in the software forum with the information of the stop error.

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no protection. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /uninstall
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /uninstall, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
    3. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    4. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    5. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    6. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    7. If you are running Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning procedures pointed to by step 6 of the READ ME for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    8. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:

Thanks for taking the time to look over the logs. One last question, on restart I get a box that reads Cannot find 'file:/// make sure the path or internet adress is correct. I've been told this is caused by an infection. Is this true or should I also pursue this issue though the software forum? Thanks again,

You need to tell me exactly what the message says. It probably means that some piece of malware was removed, but the registry key still exists.

"Cannot find 'file:/// make sure the path or internet adress is correct." That is exactly what the message reads (quotes added). It comes up on the desk top when the computer is booted, and closes when the close "X" is clicked. I've seen this same message on another machine a while back. The owner said she didn't know when it started to appear.

Sadly, that is too little info to be able to find it. I have not seen that before and can not find anything in your logs that may reference it. :(

You might post in software and see if anyone else has experienced that.

Okay, I hope I haven't wasted your time on this issue. I just learned that this problem occurs when "Comcast Universal Installer" is in the start up menu. I hadn't taken out Hijack This as yet and used it to get rid of the culprit. Maybe this information will be useful if someone else who has this issue. Good job and thank you for your patience as well, you a saint.

Your best way to stop it in start up is to use:
    Startup_CPL

Okay, that is one more good piece of advice. I'll do that. Thanks again.
