BSOD, bad ram?

    I keep getting random reboots. At first I thought it might be a bad Hard drive but I'm now thinking it's bad ram from looking at these crash dump files. I've attached a few and was hoping someone else might be able to offer a bit of insight into this for me. Thanks!

    Try running this Memtest program, you will need to burn the ISO to disk and ImgBurn is good free app for this, also test each memory stick independently.

    Do check the instainde of your PC for the HeatSink Fan from being clogged up with fluff and dust as heat can cause random BSODs, as well as any other motherboard and cause fans .


    Also as AVG and if your Antivirus was listed as one cause, uninstall it and say install Avast and monitor if you get same BSODs,

    Well I tweaked some settings in the bios (qpi voltage and trfc) and it seems to be stable now. I ran some test and it's looking to be good so far. Going to let prime95 run overnight and see how it does but it's looking promising now. Thanks for the help.

    When you can get into OS but want to specifically test RAM I prefer:

    MemTest 4.0 .

    For stability I much prefer:

    OCCT 3.1.0

    and so do many OC's with a 1hour run being accepted as a stability norm. It tests ur RAM as well.

    Alright thanks I'll give those a try. Now with memtest I can just put that on a USB drive and boot from that to run it, correct?

    The memtest I linked is used "within" the OS, DL and run it. Read the manual.
