I read Adrynalyne's post on HOW TO: Debug Memory Dumps (Figure out what is causing a BSOD). I can only log in under safe mode so I couldn't install the Microsoft Debugging Tools. I was able to run BlueScreenView but don't understand what it's telling me and what to do.

    'puter: Dell E1505
    CPU: 2ghz
    RAM: 2GB
    OS: Windows XP

I hadn't used the laptop in a while since I have this new one but because of health reasons I'm in a wheelchair or hospital bed and the laptop would be much easier to use. When I boot up, I get past the Windows screen and my desktop shows up and it starts to load stuff then crashes. At some point I managed to get it to work but it didn't connect to the WiFi internet and when I press fn-f2 which toggles the wifi, it crashed and now it crashes on startup.

Using BlueScreenView I think the offending files are hal.dll tcpip.sys and vsdatant.sys

    What should I do?

    thanks in advanced
