BSOD errors - Chrome related?

After an extremely helpful back and forth with TimW over in the Malware section I sorted a couple of my errors but I'm still left with some recurring issues that I wish to fix.

Yesterday I was listening to music on iTunes. I believe Chrome was open as well.

Suddenly my PC restarted and then I was stuck in a loop of chain restarts. I got into the Advanced startup options and disabled restart on system error so I could pick up the error details.

From then on in I had BSOD errors on every startup bar one where I managed to get into Safe Mode. From there I knocked a few things related to Chrome and iTunes off the startup list temporarily, managed to get into Normal Mode in which I am still residing. Restarted once since then with no BSOD error however Chrome is no uninstalled.

When I ran the uninstaller to get rid of chrome, instead of any of the usual interface I just got the Windows Installer starting box, followed by "Chrome.exe has encountered an error" message. Hit "Close the program". Chrome seems to have gone. Not in the programs list or in Program Files or anywhere. However, I think there are still remants of it sneaking around in UserData or the registry.

One some of the BSOD errors I got no error cause or codes. On a couple I got "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". This appears to be a memory fault. 2GB of my memory is a couple years old, but it's GeiL top of the range stuff. The other 4GB is only a few months old and is Kingston HyperX. So not too Bargain box....
