    Hi,
I'm working on a friends PC and could use a little help:
    HP Media Center PC m8000n
    Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Proc 5200+ 2.6 GHz
    ASUS M2N68-LA mobo
Onboard INVIDIA GeForce 6150SE/NForce 430 Chipset
    2 Gigs Ram
    Vista Home Premium

It started giving him BSOD Errors with stop code 0x00000124 which according to MS support means there is a problem with the PCIe Hot Swap function or something along those lines... He's never used the PCIe slot, and the errors started with no new software or hardware additions that he is aware of.

He formatted the drive and loaded XP Pro, and while the BSOD errors stopped, the PC would suddenly lock up... it went to a black screen, but the fans were still spinning and the power light was still on. That's when he gave up and gave it to me...
I managed to get Vista back on it, so I have a fresh install and am now back to the BSOD Errors...
before updating ANY drivers, I could only get the eror to come up when I started Windows Media Center. Through the process of elimination I tried switchin out RAM and slots, pulling the Media Center I/O card, and have updated the Video, Audio and Chipset drivers.
Still getting the BSOD, not always only with Media Center but that's the main occurence...
So, now short of pulling my PCIe card out of my own PC and trying it out (It's an ATI so I hesitate to do that) I'm kind of at a stand still... one of the things the MS support site says is to turn off shadowing in the BIOS, but the BIOS of this particular board does not allow that option.
Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated....
    Thanks in advance!

    Dan
