BSOD post please help

    I have a computer getting a BSOD I've posted the crash analysis any advice would be very appreciated!

    Hi

    Could you please posts the BSOD error message in full as at times a bugcheck report does nto highlight the issue, while the BSOD code generally links to a specific area to look at?

    Do you always get this BSOD? or is it random? is it while using a specific application or task?

    Also boot into Safe Mode (F8 at boot ) and do you get the same BSOD?

    Well, I'm not much of a helper, but I think I might provide some assistance, so I'll give it a whack.

    According to the Analysis, the reason that you had this stop error was because of a file named ntoskrnl.exe.

    I googled it, and apparently it either is contained in Boot.ini, or has something to do with it.

    Also, Did you open up any files from MSN Messenger?
    I see that you have XP.

    Really good idea and thought.. .however ntoskrnl.exe is listed with too many bug reports to be accurate in what is actually causing the problem, a safe boot, can at times rule out a driver of application that starts at boot being the cause which is likely to be the cause, but the issue will only be resolved or known with the BSOD code.

    Well worth always if your a PC support tech in having the PC infront of you to diagnose issues, 3rd party reports from novice or no-tech users is not very valuable at times.... so if you can get the PC then great as steps can be recreated live.
