BSOD-System Service Exception' error

When Advanced System Care (Quick Care or the Deep Care) as soon as it starts to delete the MRUs in junk files I get the BSOD-System Service Exception' error. The same thing happens with ccleaner.
My system and all programs run fine otherwise.


Operating System - Windows 7 (64 bit)
Security Software - AVG10, Spybot w/residential, IObit Malware Fighter
IOBIT Software - Advanced System Care, ccleaner
Motherboard - ASUS CROSSHAIR
Processor - AMD Athalon 64 x 2 Dual Core 6400+ 3.21 GHz
Memory - 8GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2

 

I think you having too many security applications is the problem.. I would recommend uninstalling all the IOBit software, Advanced System Care and Spybot. You may as well get rid of AVG10 as this is outdated and install the 2011 version.

Keep AVG2011 and CCleaner. If you don't feel safe enough, install malwarebytes (free /nonpaid version), and SUPERAntispyware, as both don't provide any real time protection and are lite apps.

 

Thank you for the link to AVG2011. I installed it as suggested. Before I uninstalled the Advanced System Care 4 I ran it one last time. This time I accessed the junk files report which I neglected to do before. BIG oversight on my part. I found 100+ files in:

C:\\ Users\(my username)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5...... etc.

Most of which had a 'Bogus File' ending. After I manually deleted all those files (since IOBIT couldn't) the BSOD has not reappeared.

I have taken your other suggestions as far as Spybot and all the IOBIT software and I will also look into the other two programs you suggested.
