BSOD Upon Startup

Hi, I've got Windows 7, and I usually leave it running overnight. So today when I turned on my monitors, I found my computer on the Ubuntu login screen (I dual-boot). I figure that was because Windows probably automatically updated and restarted itself. So I restarted again to boot into Windows, and was greeted a blue screen of death. I tried again, and this time it showed me this:

If I choose the second option, it just gives me the BSOD again.
But if I choose the first one, it gives me this:

I haven't done a whole lot in that yet because I have no idea what I would do with it, really.
So then I went ahead and booted back into Ubuntu and ran a scan to see if that shed any light on anything.
It didn't.
I suspect something went wrong when Windows was updating, but I don't really know what to do about it.

I've seen a few remarks over the last hour on several forums that makes me think there's a problem for some people with one or more of the latest Windows Updates.

Try to get into Windows Safe Mode and restore your system back a few days then turn off Windows Update. Reboot into normal mode and create a new Restore point, check WU manually, install one update only and test for a few reboots before moving on to the next one.
