I am getting multiple BSOD's per day. Started out with one or two per day and now come even 10 - 30 minutes. Not while is Safe mode with networking. The BSOD reader is pointing me to a problem with the ntoskrnl.exe. I have run Wise Registry Cleaner several times - it has improved things slightly.
Blue Screen view shows the Bug Check String APC_INDEX-MISMATCH and Bug Check Code pf 0x00000001.

I running on an HP dual core AMD 64 bit Windows 7 sp 1.

    Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks. I tried the hot fix but it didn't improve matters.

I do have the bluescreenview installed and I have looked at the output. That is where I found out that the ntoskrnl.exe is referenced for virtually every BSOD. The error codes vary. 0x0000003b. 0a. 0a, 3b, 1a, 0a, 1, 19, 1a, 3b, 1. All but one say caused by driver notskrnl.exe. One referenced avgidsdrivera.sys. I have uninstalled AVG at this point hoping it was a bad update that had caused this sudden and increasing problem. The uninstall has not helped.

There may be some hardware issues, you can test memory and hard drive(s), details here and here.

There may a driver problem/conflict, probably with the old Acronis/Seagate Disc Wizard and newer Easus softwares. The Acronis version is way too old to be safe on W7 SP1. I would uninstall the Acronis/Seagate software and install an upgraded version if you want to use 2x 3rd party backup systems side-by-side.

Overall it feels strange, I did see one *.exe file caught crashing that I didn't recognise (nether did online searches) so this may indicate a Malware problem; please study and follow the Malware Sticky please.

Thank you all. After uploading my BSOD's dump files, I did as recommended and ran the hdd test. MY hard drive failed and i was unable to run the Seagate for DOS test and fix all the way through - the hard drive crashed a couple times when i attempted that. The drive is only a couple months old so will be going back for replacement. :):)
