Bsod

    hello all, i am running windows xp on my computer an every time i turn it on i get a blue screen saying the video driver has failed to initialize... i took out my nviia card an plug the wire in the regular vga an tried to enable vga an i get the same message.. I tried to reinsiall windows but when i boot from the Cd an it says starting windows my PC just turns off is there a way i can solve this probelem:cry

    Sounds like we are going to need a little more info then just a short paragraph.

    If you know the system specs and motherboard please let us know.

    Can you give us all so the full stop code.And if this is a custom or store bought pc.

    Ahh sorry about that.. i have a gateway dx4710-ub301a.. i keep getting
    0x000000B4 The video driver failed to initialize on blue screen

    At this point if your data on your system is not too important i would recommend on doing a fresh install of the OS.Or you could try to go threw the repair process.

    There might be a VGA mode option in your BIOS adjust that and see if that will work.
