    Thank you in advance.
1)Yesterday I was uploading pics from my phone. There were approx 2000 pics to upload because I recently reinstalled windows and installed Itunes. After a few hours (during the upload) I got a quick BSOD and was unable to read it as it disappeared. Wondering what I should do about this?
    2) I also noticed that in device manager: under other devices, there are 2 the universal serial bus controllers that have a hazard icons . I tried to uninstall and rebooted but no change
3)When I reboot or restart my pc, the blue windows screen hangs longer than it should.

Looks like usbaapl64.sys the Apple Mobile Device USB driver, is the cause of the BSOD. There may be other drivers/software playing a part.

You need to reinstall your 'boards USB drivers, all the native AMD USB drivers should be in the Chipset drivers package on the ASUS support site: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/M5A97_R20/HelpDesk_Download/ (the 3rd party USB3 AsMedia drivers are also there, if you need them (blue rear USB headers)).

Not much running at Startup except bittorrent, I'd block that from auto starting.

Seeing references to problems with Security Services, drivers and software recently, if you feel anything else is 'odd', get some help from the malware team to check a

Sorry...when I open the zip file and choose win 7, would it be asus setup or setup? that I would install?

    Sorry, I overlooked the reply.

... currently it's going to take me ~2 hours to download the zip to test! I'd extract the archive to a new folder on your Desktop and then explore the contents, .inf files should describe the hardware drivers (and you may be able to point the 'Update' in Device Manager to install specifics), I should have a better handle on it after the download completes.
