Bsod :(

    Hey guys, I have one problem. I get the blue screen of death when trying to play games. I tried Battlefield Vietnam and the new Need For Speed Underground 2 and I get the BSOD with the following message (BTW Im using XP):

    Something something my system was shut down in order to prevent further damage.

    I should disable shadowing and stuff like that

    Then I got this number at the bottom if it

    ***STOP: 0x0000008E (0xc000001F0, 8xF50C5CC8, 0x00000000)

    Begining of physical memory dumb
    phyisical memory dumb complete or however they say it

    Please help me, I am totally lost and dont know what to do

    My system is:

    Pentium 4 2.53 Processor
    512 pc2700 ram
    36gb SATA 10k rpm W.D. harddrive
    p4p800se mobo
    FX5700LE 256mb Videocard
    a cheap 52x24x52 cd-r
    a cheap 16x dvd drive

    Hi,
    Most of those errors are related to a driver conflict. I would first make sure all drivers are the newest available. Dont forget motherboard drivers. Odds are, if your not current, this will fix the problem. If not, it can be more involved, my preference at that point is to remove hardware one at a time to find out which hardware is causing the problem. Then, put the problematic hardware in a different slot or worst case, replace it.

    NVM I got the fix. It was zonealarm. Their newest version.
