Budget Friendly Gaming Build Advice

So my son wants me to rebuild his PC for gaming. It's 6 years old so everything needs upgraded. I'm looking for advice on the best bang for my buck from motherboard, CPU to graphics and ram. I'm reusing the tower.

Any advice would be to awesome!

 

Depends what is your budget going to be.

What is his current specs.And what are you planning on upgrading.

And what kinda system does he want?? Intel or AMD build.

Apart from your budget, it depends on what games are going to be played.

 

Flyinghooves, if you're still in the market, Labor Day is fast approaching. I'm finally upgrading. CPU, ram and SSD prices have dropped bigly since even January and I believe ram will increase in price in 6 months. AMD is killing Intel on value & you could even go with an APU. Jut a thought.
