Hello Major Geeks community. I'm a n00b here as you can see, but have been search on the internet for a couple hours now for help, but this seems to be the site for help, because i see a lot of people with serious computer skillz here!

I just built my new pc with XP installed SP2. but I keep getting a BSOD every day and it's either a Bugcode_usb_drivers error or IRQL_not_less_or_equal BSOD.

    AMD 64 dual core 4400+
    2.21 ghz, 2 gigs ram

Here are the last 4 minidumps i've attached. any help is greatly appreciated, because i've had the Bugcode_usb_driver problem on my old pc as well. But the IRQL_not_less_or_equal BSOD problem is new. :cry I don't think that's my pc is overheating because this tower I bought has 4 independent fans on every side of the pc...even the top and is cool to the touch.

    hello. :(

Is there not a major geek soul that can help me out on this problem i'm having?
The Bugcode problem has been more of a problem than the irql problem.

I should've just posted one problem at a time, instead of being greedy and trying to get help for 2 problems at once. :D

If anyone could help, I would deeply and greatly appreciate your help and knowledge. thanks Mgeeks

If your worried about me vanishing after you solve my problem... don't be.. i'll be here to stay. and one day i hope i can help out someone too and return the favor to someone.

I don't know if it's just me but I can't read your dumps.
Is XP fully updated, are your drivers updated, or do you have have a ? next to your USB devices in your device manager? Beyond that I don't have any other help to offer.

Try reposting this in the hardware forum. More people hang out there.

Musk and Bill, there is a readme in the Software forum. I could always use a second, or even third hand with these as I am busy these days...

Edit: Didn't know there was trouble opening the zip file.

At any rate, most of the memory dumps refer to phc700.sys, which is a driver for a USB camera--probably a webcam. Remove the software and/or driver for it, and if all is well--look for an update.
