Build me a computer please?

Ok guys this is the card i just bought (eVGA 128-P2-N368-TX Geforce 6600GT 128MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card - Retail) so its all I have, So can any of you possibly build me a elite pc under 1000$ not counting my graphics card please?

No problem specing a nice system for under $1000. Do you want just the specs or do you need someone to actually do the building for you.

an "elite" system could probably use a better vid card than what you have, not that it's bad (it's very good), but there's still better.

If you need a monitor, then i would sacrifice a little on the cpu, maybe the mobo, and the ram...you might also not want more than one cd/dvd rom...you could get rid of the soundblaster, and just use the onboard audio. you could maybe also shop around for the best deal on each item, but then you will end up paying more for shipping, if you get it from multiple places...

Ok now thats a good build and all but i think ill buy a second 6600 GT Card and go with sli and drop my processor too a 2.8 or 3.0 and i didnt need a mouse and keyboard. other then that the build is pretty nice.

 

Just to let ya know bro... AMD Athlon processors Top out at about 2.8GHz, and thats teh 1000 dollar model... This here is about 2.2 Ghz ish... But they still toast Intels!
