Build PC for optimal XSI and Maya usage

    Hi, I have been asked for advice on speccing a PC for my brother in law. He intends to use this type of CAD software and I believe at the moment he plans to get AMD 3000+ chip but that is all that is set in stone. Does anyone have a similar type of rig. My knowledge is all related gaming PCs, so what should we be emphasising and putting the cash into (i.e. Graphics Card, RAM, CPU)? Is there a special type of Graphics Card for this type of work? Cheers.
