build won't display video

Ok, so i thought I'd take on a build just to see if I could and I'm having issues. Every time I turn the computer on it will beep once and then five seconds later have 3 rapid short beeps and there is no video display. I have tried quite a bit to see what's wrong, I've unplugged everything, removed the RAM which caused a different beeping pattern, and taken out the battery for a while and nothing has worked. I'm not that computer competent and would just like some help from here. The components are:

CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 250
Asus M3A78-EM
NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT 1GB
4GB RAM (kingston kvr800d2n6) I'm thinking the RAM isn't compatible but i dunno

go to your motherboard manufacturer's website and be sure you have the latest mobo drivers a toll such as Everlest Home Edition can assist you greatly in that department.

 

1long, 3 short or 3short is related to a memory/ram failure you must have faulty RAM or it could be a compatibility issue

I'll go out later today and get different RAM and see if that changes anything
