Building a Laptop

I recently built a desktop with a variety of video/audio components, an Intel 3.2GHz dual processor, and 4GB of memory. The system has been working well for 18 months. So, on to my next challenge -- building a laptop.

Are there parts available (where should I look) and forums (recommendations appreciated) where I could begin my research?

I did a search in the hardware forum and could not find anything.
