The only thing i see is that $655.00 sound card WOW...

You could buy at that price a very good graphic card a geforce 8800GTX.....

Something to think about...onless you realy like HI-FI sound....

And for that ram you should go for 2 now if your computer it's for gaming.....

Not sure if there is ever much point buying the very top of the line stuff.
    If you drop your
    CPU down 1 = $300 less
    sound card down 1 = $250 less
    graphics card down 1 = $200 less

    with the case:
    http://www.nvidia.com/page/home.html
have a very nice ATX/BTX case out at the moment for $299.00 USD
    = $478.00 AUD another saving of $100

Total saving $850.00 AUD (buy a lot of games for that)

And thats just from looking from that one site
    http://www.pccasegear.com
which by the way is one of the best sites in Australia
but you may also want to look at
    http://www.centrecom.com.au/catalog/default.php
it really does pay to shop around

Even look at American stores, I imported my memory from
    http://www.memorysuppliers.com/
and it was a fair chunk cheaper than anything in Australia
and Ive bought other stuff from Taiwan (lot of manufacturers based there these days - including Leadtek who make the tv card you want.
I haven't had any problems importing anything yet.

It also pays to read as many reviews as you can find online on any pc parts you are thinking of buying and take your time

And look at the manufacturers sites to see what they actually make, there may be models more suited to you

the graphics card is the only thing that may 'reallistically' make any noticable difference anyway, but Im sure the 7950 GT 512MB DDR3 HDCP ExTreme is still a very flash card.

At the end of the day its all up to you
but these days most things are only top of the line for a maximum of 6 months anyway.

Hopefully a few of the more experienced members who have already bought these or similar products will help you with this thread soon.

There may already be a thread on 'the ultimate computer' here somewhere

Good luck with whatever you end up buying
