Building PC feedback needed!

Basically I'm building my own pc for the first time and need some feedback/advice from you guys/girls on whether it's good, bad, what could be improved ect.
Oh and I'm from UK so please don't post links to US sites such as newegg:-D

anyway I'm saving at least £100 because my brothers friend kindly gave his whole PC to us for free, that's why i'm upgradin because it sux it's amd athlon 1700@1.49GHz, 512mb ram so yea u get the drift.

So i'm keeping the case as it has 2 ideal fans and 80gb hdd which will do for now

yeah so few days ago I got a 580W PSU for £30 which is brilliant price!
Comes with PCI-e connectors and so on.

final price will be around £210, so I think this is a very good price for a decent pc which I will be using for gaming/browsing mostly.
I was gonna go for a more low end gfx card to save money but I thought it wouldn't be worth having dual core processor and 4gb ram with a low end gfx card.

So yeah I've done my research and i'm hoping to buy all these parts(PSU already brought) soon. Post opinions/views on whether this is a good system and suggestions for better parts ect..:cool

The Radeon is a good choice with your psu as it is a low consumption job.

Wouldn't bother with the wrist band LOL ... just touching the PC case does the job ....... also maybe its just me but I would have gone for the 1066 RAM maybe its just my gaming High Performance tendencies

 

Hi I was wondering if a AMD Athlon X2 245 2.9GHZ Socket AM3 Processor would work with a Asus M2N68-AM SE2 GeForce 7025 Socket AM2+ mATX Motherboard.
It says Socket AM2+ motherboard but on the Asus website it has Socket AM3 CPU's including the x2 245 on the CPU support list:confused
