Hi everybody I hope you are all doing okay,

I would like to show you my new system, looking for any final thought before I buy.
This will be my first system to build.
I wanted a system which combine between beauty and power, so here what I have:

Case: Logisys Handcraft with Laser Cut (Model: CS886CBL)
    http://www.xpcgear.com/cs886cbl.html

Power supply: APEVIA (ASPIRE) ICEBERG ATX-IB680W-BL 680W

Memory card: OCZ Gold XTC 1024MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz Memory

Mom's board: eVGA 122-CK-NF68-AR Socket T (LGA 775) NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813188009

Video card: eVGA 128-P2-N411-LX GeForce 7100GS

    Processor: Intel Pentium 4 541 Prescott 3.2GHz 1MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819116231

    CD burner: LG Beige 52X CD-R 32X CD-RW 52X CD-ROM 2M Cache IDE CD Burner

    Hard drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3250620AS 250GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA

Dose anybody know if Logisys case will fit the Apevia power supply or not?

Also it was very hard for me to find any CD burners with a SATA interface, if you have any idea, just throw it to me

And what is best is it WinXP homeEdition or proffesional or media center, taking into consideration that I would like to enjoy games on this one

    Any suggestions will be appreciated

Thanks for noticing that good one
This choice for a reason, you can say a test< Actually I wanted to buy any cheap card to get my first system runing and in order to feel the beauty and the differnce of having a good card in the future. and that is why I am paying the best money in the Motherboard, for future upgrades, the Mobo is the heart, anything else could be replaced

    Got me

    311$ oh man mercy please
    I wish to do that
Actually I was going to buy a cleron CPU for 50 bucks for the same reason I am going to buy the cheap card but then I said to my self that would be too bad, that is why for the 91$ processor
I can survive with that processor for sometime, at least to take some experince with this series, and then in the near future hopefully the Core due will be less expensive then I can test the beauty of speed
The same thing with the Memory, I wanta see how 1 G can carry a game with this CPU and with this low GCard, just for test.
How about windows XP what is the best version in your opinion, I heared before that XP proffesional is not the right thing for games, is this right or rumor????

IMO you have only made two good choices
    The Memory & the HDD
    I'd ditch the rest & fast :)

Any of those OS's are fine for games
If you want to enjoy games get a better Video card

Aspire is well known for making Pure Garbage PSU's (I wouldnt risk it)

I'd suggest OCZ 600 or 700 Gamextream's both have been available for around $100 AR
    or Corsair HX620 $150ish or HX520 I just bought one for $117

Have a read here about PSU's everything recommended has been tested thoroughly

Your case choice = Weak, poor air flow with two 80 mm fans it will get hot, it will also show dirt & finger prints well :) scratch easy too
Your choice of CPU? I know the socket 478 Prescotts ran hot if the same is true with your's, Case air flow will be so important (but is is anyway) you might need an aftermarket HSF:eek:

CD burner? Why not get DVD/CD burner combo you can get a NEC for about $30
I have two of these in Black ( I wont buy anything but NEC's)

If you aren't getting Core 2 Duo, go AMD.

Yes, I agree with the AMD selection. With nearly 100$ you can get a 3800+ CPU.
As for your PSU and case be aware that if they are inefficient the entire system is.
I would suggest case "Herolchi CI-6A19" for 45$
and PSU "Sharkoon Silent storm 430W" for 75$

Thanks Asus I think I am finally convinced of your opinion after reading some more reviews and I am going to go for the OCZ 700, it is about 149$ on newegg, is it cheaper anywhere else?
And why not the eVega Motherboard
