Since you may see it elsewhere, we have repeatedly deleted every submission of the program from the author here because it includes a browser hijacker. Its actually a decent program, but we can not add it here until the NavHelper and NavExcel Search Toolbar bundled with it are removed.

So, if you see it somewhere, downloaded it and are infected, as always, it wasnt from us.

For my own curiosity, does it give you a choice during installation, or is it buried deep in the EULA?

Ooooooh, sneaky bastards. What they did was update download.com listing by sending them a version without the browser hijack. Since 1.4 million have already downloaded it from download.com, its in their best interests to send them a spyware free version, hoping you update from them later.

Note the different file sizes. Smaller from download.com, larger from burn4free website.

If a company can be as sneeky as this then they no matter what they do in the future they are not a company I would like to use!! trust these days is a bye word and I know I can trust MGs to have downloads I know to be safe in knowing they have been tested in house for safe use for all users.

Cheers for the updates MA :)

I find it of interest that none of the McAfee or Norton internet security programs I'm using (antispy, antivirus, antispam - all up to date) point this out. The files come back as "clean", regardless of the size or the download site.

    Thanks for the warning.

Since I can't sleep, I decided to give this a shot. The file size is the same, both the authour's and download.com sizes are 2.39 MB. I decided against going past this screen as I have better things to do than clean my rig. At least they are "honest" about it. MA was %100 correct in his assessment of the authours.

After reading their FAQ and privacy blurbs, they don't seem so evil anymore though I won't touch it.
