Burnaware 6.9

I have burnaware 6.9 installed on my computer. After the burn completed and show 'successfully burn' the tray could not open by itself, at times I wait to see it open and after more then 20 mins. or so it open. The writer seem it still spinning as the light flashing. My OS. XP. Pro.SP3. Thanks.

 

Thanks Major Attitude for your advised, will scan after download. Older version that is v6.4 is working without any problem.

Thanks for the information downloaded and installed. Result after adding all the files and click burn icon, it gives a start flash but the burn engine seem not started. Nothing appear after that I am puzzle why my computer have these problem.

 

I try to 'dial back' in my head to remember what other programs or "fixes" I've installed recently. Sometimes I'll go into Control Panel and "uninstall" my CD-DVD drives, then restart my computer and see if they reinstall themselves.

Will the drive still play disks? (Music or Video - this would indicate "Drive is still functioning to some degree" ie, the power function still works.) Of course, drives hasically have 3 parts - the drive-motor, the tray motor and the laser-reading-writing assembly.

 

I tried the free version it can burn but it took more then 15 min. then it could eject by itself. The pro version trial could not start the burn engine it show something like 'gathering information' then after that nothing appears. Any further help will be much appreciate.
