burning a dvd with nero 6

ok, just copied a dvd over to my h/d with dvd decryptor, no errors.
went into nero and chose dvd video and added the video files to the video folder that nero gave me. when i clicked on burn, the whole computer locks up. this happens with the nero 6 i got with my dvd writer (OEM version) and the normal version that came with my computer. i haven't tried nero 5.5 yet so i might do this, but why is it locking up???!!!

 

why not just burn the file in dvd decrypter? just go to mode, iso, write. its much easier then nero. also get the latest version of nero to burn dvds. its a very picky program but they are improving it with each release.

 

aaaah it doesn't work, the files aren't .iso, they're normal dvd files you find on a dvd. i'll keep looking, any other sugestions though?

 

major embarrassment, just had to set the write speed to 2X and it works perfectly

 

Use DVD Shrink ( http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4020.html ). It integrates with Nero to copy and burn the DVD movie to a 4.7GB recordable DVD, either by compressing the data or allowing you to remove menus and special features. DVD Decrypter doesn't compress the DVD data, so you'll need a dual layer DVD burner and disc to make a 1-1 copy of a movie that way.
