Burning in Windows 98SE

    It's been so long since I`ve used it, my father is relying on me getting it working for him, he has a MSI CDRW, but he formatted recently (Been over a year) and I cant remember if he needs an ASPI layer, and which one if so..

    His trying to burn in nero, but when he presses burn.. it wants to save an iso file.. I checked it out and nero doesnt detect a burner in the machine...

    This may or may not be relevant to your problem, but I'll pass it along just in case.
    I had a problem with Nero not recognizing my cdburner in one of my computers.
    Finally, out of desperation, I checked the jumper settings on the burner. Since I had a cdrom and a cd burner, I had the cdrom set as "master" and the burner as "slave".
    I set them both as "cable select", and that fixed the problem.
