Burning Streaming Video

Can anyone assist with how to burn streaming video - or even downloaded for that matter to DVD. Im very new to this, i have a dvd burner with nero. i have the wmv files but they are protected. is there anyway around this?

can i burn while i stream?

I was told about this once. I tried it but wasn't sure how it was supposed to work. Other people claim to have had success with it, so it might be worth a try.
