I'm studying some new languages and found on the net several sites containing vocabulary files. Their format is au, wave and MP3. Does anyone know how I can burn those files to a CD so that I can play it afterwards in a diskman, car stereo or regular cd player ? Furthermore do I need to use data CD's or audio CD's ?

Thanks for helping me out !

If you are using Windows XP then you can simply select the fies you want, then right click and select <send to> then select Cd burner. When the files are copied it says you have files waiting to be written to cd. If not then go to my computer and double click on your cd burner then click write these files to cd (top left hand corner). Before it burns it asks you if you would like to make the cd for use in pc or standard audio cd players.

You can use any type of cd, although if you plan to use a CDRW (rewritable disc) then you should make sure your cd players read them. Most do these days.

If you dont have windows XP then you should use what ever software came with your cd burner, usually nero express. From there you can also select audio cd, then add your files manually.

    Hope this Helps :)
