burnout paradise ( a game from EA/Origin) orignally built for XP machines installed on a new windows 7 ultimate 32 bit OS. NVidia GEforce 660 2Gb video card RAM, 8GB sys RAM.game only worked when initially installed, and windows problem occurs(non-specified). EA support suggest i install on XP machine or install XP on my new machine. i have xp install cd but install is greyed out when i try to use it. any suggestions that might actually work?

    Hi

Possible you can use the compatability settings in Windows 7 to install and run the game, worth a try.

To do this uninstall the game if its installed now, then re-install but right click the games installer file and choose Properties then Compatibility and choose XP SP3 in the dropdown and tick the run as administrator box, and install the game, then before running the game right click its shortcut and choose Properties > Compatibility and then again choose XP SP3 for the setting and apply then try the game.
