Buying A New Computer

i wanted to buy a inexpencive gaming pc then can get about 60-80+ fps on games like C&C Renegade,BF 1942, CoD, and maby C&C Generals..

while those fit your budget, I'd recommend spending alittle more on your graphics card ... like a 6800 or X800 ... or at least a 9800 or 5900 ... and maybe this RAM:

and you'd have a pretty powerful system

 

well i have a 128mb ati 3d card i bought it for my old computer about 3 months ago would that work?.. and if i got the ati card u said could a play games like half-life2 and doom3,and at how meny FPS?

 

the 9600XT is a descent low/mid-range card ... you should be able to play HL2 and Doom fine ... don't know how many FPS .. i dont know about your old card because you failed to mention which ATI card it is ... you might spend a bit more on the RAM and other stuff and use your old card untill you save up for a better one, instead of buying the 9600XT now ... i would also suggest buying a PSU as the one that comes with that case is crap (Antec TruePower and PC Power & Cooling are good search the board for other suggestions)
