I need some help buying a Photo Printer. I need some recommendations. I found one I liked but wasn't sure if it's a good one. Just spent $1500 on a new desktop so I need to stay under $150.

    Comments?

Yeah, that's a better deal, thanks.

Also, is there a decent printer as in quality IYO?

Anythign using the Vivera series is good. Also, if you have the seperate printheads & carts, you get even better. We have a 7660 which is really good, but since it came out, the printers got better. It really comes down to cost, but if looking at the D5160, it does have Bluetooth capability. The D7160 & 7360 use seperate color tanks, which means that if you run out of one color, but not the rest, you are not tossing out $$.

You might also consider 1 of the Epson R-Series printers, R240, R340 and up if you would like to be able to print onto inkjet printable CD's and DVD's as well as great photo reproduction.

Yeah, I will print CD/DVD labels as well as photo's.

Should this HP printer do good with this? I have a B&W Laser so I'm not much on color printers so I need suggestions lol.

As far as I know, there are no HP printers that print DIRECTLY onto a CD or DVD. An Epson doesn't use labels, it prints directly onto the inkjet printable CD or DVD.

I meant CD/DVD labels, sorry about the misunderstanding.

    Hi BJ,
If you buy and use inkjet printable CD's and DVD's and have an Epson R-series printer then there is no need for labels at all. With an Epson printer you won't have to attach a label to the CD or DVD. Whatever you want is printed right on the surface of the disk. No muss, no fuss, no aligning a piece of paper with a sticky back and hoping you get it centered on the disk correctly so it doesn't cause vibration in the drive and all the other problems associated with a paper label.
