There used to be a forum here that enabled people to buy/sell stuff, I think it's gone because it was too much of a headache to host.

I am looking for a jump drive that large (1g-1tb) that is also cheap. Does anyone have a brand to recommend or a place to get it from?
I know there are lots of both types/places, but I thought someone might have more experience than I and could point out where to go/get, so I dont end up buying a lemon.
    thanks

    Hi

If you are in mentioning "jump drive" as being USB Thumb or Pen drive then I have not seen a 1TB one yet, dont think they have gotten the solid state memory chips that small yet, and a 1tb one would be vastly expensive going off current high sizes of Jump/Thumb/Pen drives of 256GB for a Kingston Data Traveller @ £412 and $782 respectively.

32GB drives should be around $39 - 60 and some HERE

But makes to look for are Kingston, Lexar, Crucial, SanDisk, Patriot and PNY to name a few, but always go for a well known named brand so look the company up in the net and check them out for reviews etc

You can get Solid State Drives (SSD) in 1TB+ sizes but they are also not cheap.

So whats your max $$$$ spend? this may help narrow the field down alot?
