by pass firewall?

hey all
i'm downloading the open beta client for W.O.W(world of warcraft) and it is taking me forever it says the reason it's taking so long is because i have a firewall

i was wondering if there is a way to by pass the firewall to speed up the download
but i have to be able to do so while downloading the file, is this possible?
i can't stop the download it has already been downloading for 7 hours and it's only at 43%

Just switch your firewall off while you are downloading. Mine resides in the system tray. Remember to turn it back on afterwards.
