BySoft FreeRam 4.0

Okee-dokey, so now I have this little program BySoft FreeRam 4.0 that I got here at MajorGeeks. It's helping me to not crash. I have W2000 Pro and my puter is a bit over-taxed, so I got this. Now its driving me bonkers everytime I boot up because it immediately pops up a window saying "This is the first time you've run BySoft FreeRam.. You will be taken to our webpage..." etc etc etc...and its NOT the first time Ive run it. Then the PITA thing tries to MAKE me log onto the net and opens a window immediately to take me there. Now I dont like being told what to do by some upstart little program that thinks that everything is all about IT.....so here I am. I went through its "Options" and there's nothing pertaining to this damn window thing it insists on.

How can I get rid of this problem??

I want the program to start with Windows as its set to do, but if the only way to fix this is to start it manually, dammit, I will.

 

If no-one can help you with BySoft FreeRam, you might consider FreeRAM XP Pro.
Despite the name it is listed as for all Windows OS's.

Thanks bazza! Ill go ahead & remove this and re-add FreeRam XP Pro. I had had that before and it did work well, but someone else who apparently steered me wrong at the time from another site had told me it should be removed because it was taking up too much itself. I liked it. But I thought maybe it was designed to work only with Windows XP and it maybe was taking up too much because it wasnt designed for other versions of Windows. Thank you so much! I just checked out how much RAM, FreeRam XP Pro uses.

Process Explorer tells me it only uses 2 megs on my XP Pro laptop.
