   Tweety1964 Private First Class

   I discovered this on my computer and do not recall installing it. According to pcrisk.com, it is "bundled" with other software aka a PUP, and is often a browser hijacker. I checked my add-ons and did not find ByteFence on any of the lists. Safe to keep or should I just uninstall and get rid of it?

   It has been called a legitimate program, but because of how it arrives, known to change browser settings, and the freeware version only scans - I would get rid of it using one of these:
   
   GeekUninstaller
   IObit Uninstaller Portable
   Revo Uninstaller 2.0.4 Free / 3.2.0 Pro
