    hi all,

i have had a few problems lately with my laptop but seem to have sorted the majority of them. there are just a couple of things i dont quite understand.
Everytime i try to do a system restore it asks me which drive i want to restore. i opt for the C drive as its the only one it offers, but when i try it, it tells me that there is a problem with the C drive and the computer needs to do a disk check first. So i restart the computer, it does its check and it makes no difference at all. Infact, EVERY time i start my computer now, it does a full disk check which it never used to do. I had a few malware problems but they are sorted and gone, but this leaves me so confused as i should beable to restore my system and it shouldn't do a disk check every time i start my laptop.
I'm running vista home premium on a hp laptop with avira and avg.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

    Andy

    Avira AND AVG?
Get rid of 1 of them.
Only 1 antivirus is to be used. Causes major conflicts.
