C++ program exports data to Excel file

Is it possible to write a C++ program that will export certain data to an Excel file? if so, how would I do it? has anyone here done it before???

Of course it's possible to do it. But it's not like there is going to be a function in c++ that is used to write excel files.

You'd have to go out and read up on the format excel uses and then program your program accordingly. Of course I'm not sure what the lisences are pretaining to that format. There could be legal issues with you making a program to do it. Also I'm not sure if the excel format is fully documented outside MS.

It's doable, but writting a program to make an xls file is most likely going to be a couple pages worth of code at the minimum. It's also going to require you get out there and do some research.
