c600 Bios Update

Not sure if this is the right place to put this thread... so don't kill me if its not. Anyways i need to reflash the bios on my dell latitude c600 and was wondering if theres a way to do this. it has a password set to the bios as it was given to me from a friend that was security-overkill. He said he doesn't know the password to the bios and i need that password. Any ideas?
Anythings welcome even a bios hacking tool if thats possible.
