Does XP have the equivalent of what cab files are for Windows 9x, and can these files be put the hard drive, like 98's cab files, to facilitate XP's software and driver calls without having to use the cd?

    Thanks,

they would be in the i386 folder. If that is not on your hard drive you can copy the folder from the XP disc.
