.cab files

Can anyone tell me how to make .cab files? Also, can you tell me if there's freeware available for this? Thanks.

 

Download this FILE

Unzip the contents of the zip file to c:\modboot\makev3\

Copy the Dos files you need into the directory "c:\modboot\makev3\source\cabname"

NOTE: Where cabname is the name of the cab file you want to create.

Start -> Run
CMD
OK

CD \modboot\makev3
make cabname

If all goes OK, you can find the module you created in c:\modboot\makev3\cabs\

 

Also, zipgenius can create .cab file, amoung other extensions:

Well, I prefer your method over mine, but some people (not all) freak out when they can't use their mouse.
