Cad Needs And Solutions

The above is a pic of a controller being used in an HVAC system. It's similar to ones we use all the time in installing, starting, maintaining and repairing equipment our company deals in. This is from a catalogue from 'Kele', a supplier used by various technical trades. Drawing are provided showing components with wiring diagrams, parts dimensions, mounting lug or hole layouts. Very useful information. Actually required information!
Today I had an email from Kele about new products ready to ship today, so I go check it out. Got further into it and wanted to see some deeper info on something and I needed a dwg or dxf viewer. Thought I had that covered with 'IrfanView'. But when I tried to open, Iview said I needed a plug-in. Thought I had that too.

So I go to the 'About' tab, go to 'check for updates, and sure enough I'm told a newer version is there. Checking for links, there's a list of websites to visit. Tokows, Soffpedia, megaThis, MegaThat. I thought to myself 'I know MG's has it'. On the bottom of the page is an arrow showing MoreMirrors, so I click and sure enough MajorGeeks is listed with the main program and plug-in links both showing.

I use both links to MG's to get my fix and you can see from above I now can open the CAD files. On first use the Iview says 'Thanks to babaCAD for the plug-in and offers a download link. I skipped it and waited till I was done there, then went to MG's and searched and found babaCAD. Got it too.

What I was thinking is why is MajorGeeks listed on the 2nd page of links? I can't remember the last time I even saw TuKows or soffpedia or any of the others even. I would think MajorGeeks belongs on the top of the 1st page. But I reckon people would say I'm biased! Yessir!

A big thanks to "IrfanView", "babaCAD" and other publishers that offer products the little man can afford. And a big thanks to "MajorGeeks" for offering their service that a little man can afford. Very useful information. Sometimes required information.
