Calendar

I have an office with 5 people in it and I want to put a calendar on our intranet so that we all know each other's appointments etc. At the moment we use a board which involves people getting off their arses to write on it.........So guess what...Nobody does!

Anyway the point is, does anybody know of a simple intranet calendar that I can put onto our system so that people can put appointments etc in using a web browser? Freeware would be great but reasonably priced shareware is not out of the question as long as it does the job. As I said earlier, simple is good!

There is a program out there called ICAL which is easy to learn and works great. I'm looking for the URL for it now. Will try to find it in a hurry. Of course look in Major Geeks first as I have not checked there yet.

Does your office use Microsoft Outlook (not Outlook Express) as its e-mail client? Then this comes with an appointment calendar which the individuals can put their holidays, meetings, etc., which everyone can view to see if the person they want to contact is in.

 

MSN groups have a online calendar form a group everyone in your office can join,,,and share many features,,,last time i used the groups they were free,,,now they have a nominal fee,,,like geocities
