I don't see a gaming forum anymore.... I know several patches have been released in Nov2013 (incl a big one Nov 26) and I can't seem to find a place to download the patches. I thought they'd be install automatically via Steam but that doesn't seem to be the case. I poked around the Activision site and the IW site but found nothing. Any info is appreciated.

(yes, this is a legit store bought CoD-Ghosts ;) )

Steam should always have the patches that are avaible, sometimes it takes steam a bit to ingest a patch to there system/version. Did you buy the steam version or a normal other version? Personally i haven't found a patch that works with a steam version of a game. If you look at it in the steam games library and click on news does it mention an upcoming update or anything?

Actually, this is a clients PC, and I just found out he bought the game online thru Steam. If I just launch Steam, it simply shows a list of his Steam "friends" that are currently online. If I launch the game it connects to Steam briefly then the game starts. The reason I'm trying to get the newest patch is because the loading time between each map gets longer and longer... for example: loading and playing map 1 is fine; once complete, map 2 starts to load and takes a bit longer, by the time we get to map 5, it's about 20 minutes of waiting to spawn. The PC has over 1.5tb of free drive space, 16gb DDR3, Win7x64 Pro, Nvidia GTX550ti GPU, AMD FX-8150 3.60ghz 8core CPU. All other versions of CoD and other games run fine; it's just the increasing load lag between maps in CoD-Ghosts Multiplayer that seems to be a problem, and from some of the other forums I've read, it's somewhat common....

Well in that case steam should have the update when its available. Not much the client can do but to keep trying to play it, i notice sometimes steam says no updates until i try to launch a game, but thats hit or miss.

Edit, you might try right clicking on the game and clicking properties inside of steam and click the updates tab to ensure its set to always keep this game up to date. And then the local files tab and verify integrity of game cache. Might help, might not though.
