    Well , I was just wondering , aside from the specs the game recommends , what specifications would be required to run World Of Warcraft comfortably?

    Thanks for all your help!

    Put it this way , I know its "nay" , thats why I was asking what it would need to play it comfortably , as I am upgrading my computer.

    Here are my current specs ;

    256 RAM.
    1100 MHz AMD Athlon
    NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400

    What would be my best upgrades I could get on the ASUS motherboard , this type ;

    Jumper Free PC133/VC133. 200/266MHZ Front Side Bus AGP Pro/4X.

    I think I may have asked this question before , but this time i'll be more clear , what would be the best , average priced upgrades from UK suppliers? Thanks for everyones help.

    Edit ; Should I post this in another part of forum for optimum results?

    I would get hold of a demo of the game and see how it runs on your PC, you may find its ok, may have to turn the resolution and any effects down to run it quickly, but still maybe very playable.

    as for upgrades the quick and easy one is more memory, but with the specs you have a complete overhawl would be a better option than upgrading a few of the parts like CPU, Graphic Card and Ram, this would bring you more uptodate for playing the latest games.

    good UK suppliers for hardware are......

    http://www.overclockers.co.uk/
    http://www.scan.co.uk/
    http://www.dabs.com/
    their are others but, poor memory and being sidetracked at work doesnt help!

    That is more likely to get your 2nd post on the same topic deleted, always best to not multi post same questions, their are a fair amount of gamers on MG so your thread will keep on 1st page for a while.

    Thanks for both reply's Halo and Omegamerc.

    But do you know if the specs that Omegamerc stated could be handled by my current motherboard?

    "ASUS Jumper Free PC133/VC133. 200/266MHZ Front Side Bus AGP Pro/4X. "

    Thanks again.

    my specs are
    1.6ghz p4
    512mbRAM
    80gb 7200rpm hdd
    Nvidia FX5200 128mb

    with those specs it run alright, I get bad lag in org and on raids but that's about it, usually I get 150-300ms latency, this is on the lowest video settings just about.

    I don't understand why you would purchase a game for 50$, then pay a monthly fee for it. At 10$ a month, which I think is lower than what WOW charges, you would spend 170$ on a game. Granted that's not all the much, but to me it just seems like a needless charge.

    It is worth the charge, it is such a huge world and it is being updated constantly, in the last 4 months it has had a battleground and at least 3 instances added, there are almost mothly content patches, it has the best PVP system i have ever played too.

    The question was'nt if I should get it or not , but thanks for your opinion anyway.

    I'm going to buy it , use the 3 month free trial and see if I enjoy it ( Im bound to as I am a massive MMORPG fan , well RPG's in general).

    Thanks for everyone's input. :) You've all been great help.

    50$ for the game, -15$ for the first month of play = 35$, 15$/month for service = .50cents a day. I think its cheap and totaly worth it, what I don't understand is why people see 15$/month and they freak out, then they pay 100$ for telephone and cable bill, and another 120$ for their cell service.
