calsp.dll and winlspak.dll

From what I understand these are assosciated with Trojans and spyware. I ran hijackthis it says it cannot fix it, I should use some other program (i dl it I dont want to use it I am scared it will mess up my winsock)

It also says that spybot can automatically delete these. But spybot does not see these files???
Any input would be appreciated.

To make things more clear the files are in:

C:\Windows\system32

If I use LSPfix is it going to mess up my winsock?

No it will not break anything. Here is what you do:

Download LSP - Fix

Now run LSP-Fix.

Check the Box labeled "I know what I'm doing" and then click on the calsp.dll file (in the “Keep” section) to select it.

Then, Select the >> button to move calsp.dll into the Remove section.

Now, click the Finish Button. When the Repair Summary box appears, click OK.
If it is already in the Remove section, just click Finish.

Then repeat the above for winlspak.dll.

thanks man I already did it. Its fixed....
I just wasnt sure if it would break my internet connection but I went with it anyway. Its a good program.
