CamStudio v2.7 Help

I am having issues making a recording.I am trying to record online games.And seems that all most every time i try a new Video Options it makes it worse choppy/lagy.

I am trying to record in high quality and speed and most of the settings i have found on you tube or net sucks.

I need to know the best settings for these settings.

Set Key Frames Every ? Frams

Capture Frames Every ? millseconds

Playback Rate ? frames/seconds

I am looking for speed / quality here I know for a fact that if the Playback rate is set too high the video looks like a hyper cam.

Have you updated the CamStudio Lossless codec and are you using it? I had numerous problems until I started looking around, and I found that the best codec for CamStudio was the CamStudio lossless. Using it I have been able to just use the defaults to record successfully.

I have version 1.5 of the codec, but there may be a more recent one. You can Google for more information on which one is best. There are some videos on how to install the update if you need to do so.

 

Yes i have been using the camstudio lossless codec pack.I figured that might have been some of the problem.

CamStudio can be setup to record videos from games it just takes little bit to set it up.
