Camtasia & Firefox issues--help me, o geeks!

I have been struggling with computer problems since February when I installed a Logitech web cam and microphone and then Camtasia Studio 3 on my computer. As soon as I get an issue fixed, 2 more pop up. Today I’m having the following issues:

1.After working fine for a week ( a rare occurrence) I suddenly find that Camtasia closes as soon as I open it. For the last 3 days, I have had to re-install it each morning. It works fine throughout the day, even though I open and close it several times. However, if I shut off the computer, I find that when I reboot and try to open Camtasia, it closes without any warning and I can only get back to work by reinstalling it.

    2. I’ve run Firefox every since it was introduced and never, ever had a problem. Now, for the last week, my browser has been hanging up any time I input data online. I can type 4 or 5 letters. It stalls for anywhere from 30 seconds to 1 minute, then starts up again and lets me type 4 more letters. It’s taking me forever to fill in forms.
I do not use IE, but tried it to see if I had the same problem, and I did not. I thereupon uninstalled Firefox, ran CCleaner, including registry fix, ran Ad-aware SE, ran IObit Smart Defrag and reinstalled Firefox without asny add-ons. Still have the same problem. (And as a side note, my system has IE version 6. It kept trying to install version 7, but the install failed each time.) I am using Avast . It is set on the same settings I have used for several years—normal—and I have not customized it. (Also, I tried twice to post this message using Firefox, but my submission failed. I had to log out and come back in using IE.)

    3. I recently installed and then uninstalled a piece of software named Comment Sniper. Since uninstalling, the following error message is generated each time I boot up:

“Warning: Dll file c:\ProgramFile\CommentSniper\uniquepcid.dll is missing.”

Again, I have run my adware, spy ware, registry cleaner, defrager as well as the MS system tools. They don’t report finding anything but a few registry errors, which I tell Ccleaner to fix, but this issue remains.

This morning I booted up, worked for an hour with the lagging browser and opened Camtasia once, then captured the event viewer warnings and errors. They are pasted below, along with the Belarc system report.

I haven’t found any help at the TechSmit/Camtasia or Firfoox forums and the creator of Comment Si=niper has ignored me, so I’m hoping one of the major geeks here can help me fix these issues.

This seems to indicate that there is still a Comment Sniper folder in C:\ProgramFiles and posibly something in there is still set to load at startup.
When you open device manager, do you see anything running that might be part of Comment Sniper?
Also run msconfig and see if anything in there referring to CommentSniper is loading at startup.

I can't help with Camtasia, I don't know anything about it. I do see two versions of Camtasia
    Could this be a problem?

FF as of last Wednesday is at 2.0.0.14. Are you running the updated version? ooops, I just looked over the txt file and see that you are.
