Can´t close IE window

    Surfing Amazon for DVD´s, was right clicking on ¨open in new window¨now one of the windows wont close.

    It minimises and maximises, but wont close and it doesnt show as an application when I open the task manager but the other windows do.

    Not computer savvy which is why I registered here. Help!

    Just restarted my computer and it seems fine. Alt F4 didnt work nor any right clicking.

    Wont open multiple windows from now on as this isnt my computer!

    Thanks for you help mate.

    When a window won't close, I always assume it is up to no good and I immediately close my browser. That's the quickest way to kill any strange windows. Then I usually do a scan to be sure nothing funny was added to the computer. When I'm satisfied that the machine is clean, I open the browser again.
