can a connect a netbook recieving satellite internet to a router

    my father owns a netbook that receives Internet via satellite (or 3g something like that) that doesn't require a wifi hotspot or router, I'm wondering if its possible to connect it into a wireless router through an Ethernet cable to distribute Internet to every wifi device in the area or is this impossible
