Can a E6600 handle 2 8800GTX SLI?

    Hey guys can an Intel E6600 Conroe handle 2 evga 8800GTX in sli mode or it would most probably run like crap?

    Overclocked it should be able to; it has the same size caches as the core 2 extreme just slower clock speeds. They OC pretty easily and stay cool so it should be no problem eliminating or at least lessening the CPU bottleneck

    yeah dude it should cuz my e6400 can just fine and i overclocked to 2.6 only .2 more but im sure it can

    go to newegg and it should tell u the specs for the 1 card itself and what it needs for the sli mode.

    I'd be more worried about your PSU, a single 8800 need's a butt load of juice
