to help increase my Frames per Second for gaming on my PC, which told me to change some settings and files, then download Nvidia GEForce Experience to upgrade my drivers. When it told me I didn’t have the right processor for this, I went back to the restore point and undid all previous steps.




It appears to me that Windows failed to perform a clean uninstallation, as no application will load on the PC. I am now unable to open any apps, File Explorer, Office etc. A system restore fails to execute too.



Your help will be much appreciated as this PC is being used for all Schoolwork during the week too.

 

it seems as if your driver was corrupted. Try using DDU to uninstall it. Check out this tutorial.
before you follow the tutorial and boot into safe mode. make sure your pin/password is turned off if you have one on. it will cause you more problems if you leave it on.

edit: just realized when this was posted. never mind you probably have it fixed by now
